This HUD is useful when recording or livestreaming with the Second Life viewer. It allows you to place other windows (chat windows, nearby voice, etc.) outside of the frame, and only record what is inside of the frame.
To make use of the HUD, you will need to set up your screen capture software so that it only captures the portion of the screen inside of the green rectangle. This is fairly easy to do in OBS Studio (https://obsproject.com), which is a free screen capture program.
